What's the role?

As our first Founding Engineer, you will join an early team of solarpunks in building the Spirals to transform the blockchain into regenerative by design. You will also help architect and develop infrastructure to connect to web3 carbon markets.

Is Spirals for you?

Everyone on our team wears many hats, is intrinsically self-motivated, and opinionated. Nobody will tell you what to do-- instead, you'll be able to run with your own ideas (in alignment, of course). If you enjoy ownership and creativity, we'll likely work well together. If you need stability and structure... maybe check back in a few years :-)

What skills are important?

Solidity... ish. If you know how to learn, think scrappy, ship, iterate, etc... This is probably a good fit. Solidity experience would be amazing, but we believe more in bringing on the brightest minds and fastest learners. (ie If you haven't developed in web3 before, but can convince us you can onramp quickly, we would never hold that against you.)

Our team is fun, action-oriented, and mission-aligned. We have an experienced founding team (we've built and sold startups before), are well funded, and are gearing up for some exciting product launches. We value in-person sessions but are flexible and value you as whole person.
